Visitors come in and out. They ask, "What is Single Payer?" "I don't have insurance and I need to see a doctor. Where can I go?" Volunteers answer their questions, and chat sometimes over tea, coffee or cold water, between answering the phones. Committee Meetings go on at the long table; visitors are welcome to express their opinion. Visitors sign post cards to Sen. Toomey to "Keep Medicare!" and post cards to their State Senators to support SB 400. Some visitors decide to become volunteers. They offer their expertise, join a committee, staff the office.
